York man sent to prison for meth possession while on probation

YORK – Jacob Johnson, 32, of York, has been sent to prison after being caught with methamphetamine while on probation.

According to court documents, a search was conducted at a residence where he had been staying, as he is currently on probation.

He was also questioned as to whether he was in the presence of a woman whom he is legally banned from being near to. He told officers he was not in her presence and hadn’t been, but during the search, they found her in a bedroom

Also in that bedroom, they found two syringes with one full of methamphetamine.

He pleaded no contest, this week in York County District Court, and was sentenced to a term of 1-3 years in prison. He was given credit for no days already served.
