Fun at the Run – CASA holds 2024 fundraiser event

YORK — Sunny dispositions weren’t dampened by the rain at the 2024 CASA for York County Color Run.

The eighth annual event was deemed a success by York County CASA Executive Director Elizabeth Hain, who said, “it was clear children and families had a great time. Faces were painted, balloon animals adopted, snow cones enjoyed, the house was bounced in and chalk art and dust could be found about everywhere.”

Hain thanks the many sponsors who make this event possible as the organization “works to run child abuse and neglect out of town.”

She said, “Thanks goes out to the families and runners who came out in spite of the weather to enjoy the day. We hope to see them again next year and continue to grow this family-friendly fun time.”

She added: “The reason for the CASA Color Run is a serious one. That makes the Color Run even more important; it gives folks a chance to get away and focus on fun.”
