City council to consider appointments, city code revisions and plat

YORK – The York City Council will be considering a number of mayoral appointments when they meet in regular session on Thursday, May 16.

Mayor Barry Redfern will be recommending the reappointment of Mark Way to the Personnel Board; the reappointment of Randy Hall to the Aviation Board; the reappointment of Suzie Ellis to the Library Advisory Board; and the appointment of Sheldon Sandall to the Board of Public Works.

They will also consider a replat in Bella Vista Estates and an ordinance pertaining to some revisions to the city code.

Also on the agenda is a request from Brandon Lehman who wants to address the council regarding Project Access York “concerning the city’s budget for the project and future costs.”

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, which will begin at 5:30 p.m., in the council chambers.
