Commissioners to have all seats filled when May 14 meeting arrives

YORK COUNTY – When the York County Commissioners convene for their regular meeting on Tuesday, May 14, all five seats will be filled.

Andrew Bowman has been appointed to fulfill the District 3 term.

Tuesday’s meeting will include:

  • The commissioners will consider the reappointment of Becky Green to the Aging Partners Areawide Council.
  • They will consider a memo of understanding between York County Aging Services, Grand Central Foods and York Home Meal Delivery.
  • A settlement with NIRMA will be presented, regarding hail damage which occurred on June 14, 2022.
  • A housing authority grant will be reviewed.
  • The county board members will talk about a contract for special services pertaining the future update of the county’s comprehensive plan and zoning regulations. The comprehensive plan is updated every 10 years and the time for that task is nearing again.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, which will start at 8:30 a.m., in the commissioners’ meeting room on the main floor of the courthouse.
