Henderson woman accused of criminal possession of financial device and possession of meth takes plea agreement

YORK – Katelyn M. Simmons, 23, of Henderson, has taken a plea agreement in a case involving  financial fraud and possession of methamphetamine, as well felony failure to appear.

She changed her plea this past week in York County District Court.

She was accused of possessing two credit cards owned by other people, as well as a blank check that didn’t belong to her.

She was also accused of having the Schedule 1 controlled substance in her possession, when she was taken into custody.

One count of possession of a controlled substance was dismissed.

One count of failure to appear was dismissed.

One felony count of failure to appear was amended to attempt of a Class 4 felony, which is a Class 1 misdemeanor.

Her sentencing has been set for May 21.
