York County Emergency Management to hold storm spotter training

YORK COUNTY – It’s that time of year again, as Gary Petersen, the York County emergency manager, says storm spotter training is scheduled for this month.

He said the National Weather Service will conduct the storm spotter training on March 25, at 6:30 p.m., at the York County 4-H Building on the York County Fairgrounds.

The training is free and open to the public.

This coincides with Nebraska Severe Weather Awareness Week, which is March 25-29.
