York City Council to consider audit, property insurance, annexation

YORK – When the York City Council meets in regular session this Thursday, Feb. 15, they will consider a number of agenda items, including the annual audit, the city’s property insurance contract, annexation and more.

They will consider a recommendation from the Insurance Committee to continue the city’s current contract for property insurance.

The council will hear details about the city’s audit for the 2022-23 fiscal year.

They will consider an annexation petition filed by Gark Homes SHV 3 W LLC.

Also before the council will be a bid from Dostal Construction for the installation of new playground equipment at East Hill Park, costing $72,000. The equipment arrived this past week.

They will consider authorizing the mayor to sign an engineering agreement with Olsson Inc., in the amount of $14,839.19.

The public is always encouraged to attend the meeting, which will begin at 5:30 p.m., in the council chambers.
