Exeter man accused of being caught with meth by York Police Department

YORK – Brian Stutzman, 44, of Exeter, has been bound over to District Court in a case involving the alleged possession of methamphetamine and driving without a license in York.

According to court documents, Stutzman was spotted driving away from a York business while YPD officers knew he didn’t have a driver’s license. A traffic stop was initiated.

While speaking with him, officers allege they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Due to the smell of marijuana, a probable cause search was conducted.

Officers allege they found a glass drug pipe containing a significant amount of methamphetamine.

Arresting officers note in their affidavit how Stutzman was taken into custody without incident, “he was cooperative and very respectful.”
