Cub Scouts recognize York County Sheriff’s Department as their Hometown Heroes

YORK COUNTY — The York County Sheriff’s Department was treated this week with a visit from Cub Scout Pack 174, as the young ones wanted to recognize the sheriff, deputies and staff as their Hometown Heroes.

The scouts brought popcorn and treats for everyone at the YSO. And that was followed with the sheriff’s department providing a tour of the agency and the emergency communications center.

The scouts said they wanted to thank the YSO for teaching them about their profession and their service.
