York woman charged with terroristic threats, felony failure to appear

YORK – Crystal Tannahill, 48, of York, has been charged with making terroristic threats and failing to appear when on bail.

Court documents do not indicate the details of the initial case, but the citation says Tannahill allegedly threatened violence against another person. The terroristic threats charge is a Class 3A felony which carries a possible maximum sentence of three years in prison with 18 months of post-release supervision.

The second charge of failure to appear while on bail is a Class 4 felony which carries a possible maximum sentence of two years in prison with 12 months of post-release supervision. According to court documents, this charge stems from her not attending her first court appearance.

This past week, she was arraigned in York County District and pleaded not guilty to both charges.

A jury trial has been set for April 23.
