York County Sheriff’s Department investigating burglary

YORK — The York County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary which occurred in rural York County on January 1. Officials says an unknown suspect forcibly entered a farmhouse and 7.62 rifle ammunition was stolen from the residence. Investigators say the front door was damaged to gain entry. Estimated damages/loss is approximately $410. No other information is available at this time.
