City council to hold regular meeting Thursday

YORK – The York City Council and administration will meet in regular session Thursday night, Nov. 16.

The agenda includes:

  • Consideration of a proposal from Raynor Garage Doors for three overhead doors for the street department in the amount of $21,756.
  • The council will be presented with a design build contract with Mammoth Sports Construction LLC for the design phase for Levitt Stadium improvements, with a price tag of $45,000.
  • Expedited reviews of three TIF applications filed by Brandon Skelton will be considered. These are for properties at 1619, 1627 and 1631 North Lincoln Ave.
  • The council will be asked to appoint Svehla Law Offices in city ordinance prosecutions when the city attorney has a conflict of interest.
  • And they will consider the mayoral appointment of Jeff Beins to fulfill the vacancy of Gayle Minert’s position on the board of adjustment.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., in the council chambers.
