First annual “Spirit of the Heartland Rally” held in in York County

McCOOL JUNCTION – The first annual “Spirit of the Heartland Rally” was held in York County this past week, which was sponsored by the York County Republicans.

The “celebration of America” was a night of food, fellowship and hearing from a number of prominent Republican speakers.

The event, attended by nearly 200 people, was hosted by Matt Innis, with York County Commissioner Woody Ziegler saying the opening prayer.

Speakers featured during the event, held at Stone Creek Event Center in McCool Junction, were:

  • Chris Baker, a conservative comedian, radio personality and host of the Chris Baker Show.
  • Allie French, founder and leader of Nebraskans Against Government Overreach, founder and director of Restoring Independence, host of Rebel Nation at Outlaw Streamers, and co-founder/board member of United Wellness Council.
  • Ben Tapper, author of the documentary “The Time Is Now.”
  • Brad Von Gillern, member of the Nebraska legislature.
  • Breland Ridenour, 2022 candidate for government and constitutional conservative.
  • Jake Jacobs, host of the Jake Jacobs Show and author of “Mobocracy: The Cultural and Political War to Destroy Our Republic Under God” and “Unmasking the Radical Leftist at Our Doorsteps.”

Following a rousing live performance of the National Anthem and the saying of the Pledge of Allegiance, attendees had the opportunity to share their views and participate in this rally promoting constitutional conservatism and hope for the future of this country.
