York University Choir to sing at library during class time Thursday

YORK – York University Choir has been invited to sing at an event later this week and one of the pieces they will be performing is “Ukrainian Alleluia” by Craig Courtney.

Inspired by the current Ukrainian photography display at the Kilgore Library in York, Dr. Clark Roush will be bringing the choir members to the library during their regular class time on Thursday, Sept. 28, to sing the piece and allow students to take time to learn more about Ukraine through the images on display.

Class time will start at 12:30 p.m. and they will sing shortly afterward.

York Library Director Deb Robertson says anyone who is interested and wants to be present, to see the display and hear the York University singers, is invited to attend.
