Chamber offers guide for Firecracker Frenzy traffic

YORK – The York Chamber of Commerce is offering some tips and a guide for Firecracker Frenzy traffic on July 3.

Chamber Director Madonna Mogul said, “Due to the road construction on Nebraska Avenue between 19th and A Streets, our office has been working with the city’s public works department and the York Police Department to help families arrive and leave safely.”

She provided the visual guide (which accompanies this story) which she asks attendees to use “as they are making their plans. After the show, please be aware there will be law enforcement from the City of York and the York County Sheriff’s Department directing traffic.”

She notes there is a small detour around the Nebraska Avenue construction and she asks that everyone avoids the temptation to use the emergency drive at the hospital.

She also noted that normal access to the fairgrounds is available, at 25th Street, 4-H Drive and Nebraska Avenue.
