York man gets plea agreement in officer assault case

YORK – Joel Hodgdon, 35, of York, has been given a plea agreement in a case where he was initially charged with first degree assault of an officer.

The original charge was a Class 1D felony which carries a possible maximum sentence of 3-50 years in prison, upon conviction.

This past week, he took a plea agreement. The case was based on his assault upon an officer with the York Police Department.
